CSI Equestrian Team
This is your Internet information resource for the College
of Southern Idaho Intercollegiate Equestrian Team and IHSA
Zone 8 Region 3. Find show schedules, contact info, member

We are a junior college team that shows under the Intercollegiate
Horse Show Association, or IHSA, in Region 3 of Zone 8.
Region 3 includes Idaho, Montana, and Utah.
The CSI Team has been active in the IHSA for only a few
years, but was the first team in Region 3 and helped start
the region in 1998. CSI is one of the only junior colleges
to compete in the IHSA on a national level. The CSIET competes
along with four-year colleges and universities since there
is no division for junior colleges.
The Team competes at shows hosted by colleges and universities
in Region 3, where the host school supplies horses for the
show. Each rider randomly draws a horse before going into
the show ring, an element which is designed to level the
playing field and give every rider the same chance based
on their riding ability. CSI competes in English on the
flat and over fences, and Western Equitation and Reining.
The CSI Equestrian Team welcomes incoming freshman to CSI
in the next school year, and current students who are interested
in participating on a friendly, close-knit national-quality
